Here at The Massage Academy, we offer courses to suit everyone. You might have already established a career in the field and have years of experience as a massage therapist and would like to expand your skillset, you might just be starting your journey to become a massage therapist, or perhaps you’re a complete novice who is just interested in learning a new skill. Whatever your skill level, everyone is welcome here!

What courses do we offer?
We offer a wide range of different courses, some with a 1 day duration, and some spread over two days. The following courses are available to enrol onto at The Massage Academy:
- Basic Body Massage Training Course
- Advanced Massage Training Course
- Swedish Body Massage Training Course
- Indian Head Massage Training Course
- Hot Stone Massage Training Course
- Thermal Auricular Therapy Training Course
How long does the course take?
Most of our courses take 1 day, however the following courses are over two days:
- Advanced Massage Training Course
- Swedish Body Massage Training Course
As these are advanced courses, unfortunately they would not be suitable for beginners.
How much does a massage training course cost at The Massage Academy?
Our one day courses are at a cost of £160 per person, or £320 per person for the two day courses.
We often have special offers and promotions running so be sure to check out our website and social media platforms for details on any offers we are currently promoting.
What should I expect on the day?
We ask our trainees to arrive at the academy at 9.45am on the morning of the course to ensure a prompt start. Each day, the course / training will commence at 10am & will finish around 4pm. We will also allow a short break for lunch. The training course will include a mixture of both classroom and practical work, with a heavy emphasis on the practical side of learning. As a part of the training, you will be expected to both give and receive treatments so please keep this in mind when booking a course. In general, our courses are mixed gender however if you do require to be in a same gender group, please inform us of this prior to booking. You are not required to bring any equipment along with you, as this is provided on the day.
What qualifications will I receive?
All candidates who successfully complete a course will receive The Massage Academy’s Diploma Certificate. This qualification is accredited by ABT, who are the industry leading provider of therapist insurance and membership services. This not only demonstrates your excellent knowledge within your field, but also allows you to gain Public Liability Insurance so you can start offering your own treatment services to the public.
What are the payment options?
If paying in full for the course is not an option for you, we do offer the Payl8r service. Payl8r is a simple payment option that enables you to buy the goods and services you require now, and spread the cost over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.
